The update this week will be short.
We had a great (but busy) week this past week. Thank you for everyone who supported our day at Pineview on Thursday, and our workout under the lights on Friday. The athletes did great, and the Friday was only marred by my pizza ordering fail that resulted in 12 cheese pizzas with 0 pepperoni! Oops.
Monday we will meet at Fernwood at 7:00 AM for a standard run.
Tuesday will be a workout at Northridge, also at 7:00 AM.
Wednesday morning we will meet at 7:00 AM (as is usual) at Weber River Trail for a short shakeout run prior to leaving for camp.
The rest of the week we will be at camp. For those unable to attend camp, please just try to get it easy run with strides and/or hill sprints at the end to keep turnover in your legs.
We will meet to carpool to camp at 10:15 AM on Wednesday morning at Northridge. Athletes are welcome to head up to camp themselves as well. Check-in is at 11:30, so please don’t arrive before then.
I am picking my kids up early from a camp in the Uintas on Wednesday morning. I should arrive just in time to be at Northridge at 10:15 AM. But if I will be a little delayed, I’ll have Coach Hazard handle the check-in. Everyone should be at camp no later than 12:15 PM, as the first activity starts at 12:30 PM.
Remember that athletes are responsible for their own lunch (bring a sack lunch) for Wednesday. All other food will be provided.
