Reasons You Should Join NRXC

We have more fun!

We may be a little biased, but we don't think there's another team at the school that has as much fun as we do. If you like to have fun while working hard, cross-country is a great fit for you!

We don't have try-outs, and everybody plays!

If you think you might want to do cross-country, we want you here! In our sport, everyone is welcome on the team, and everyone runs. It's one of the great things about XC!

You like food!

Especially pasta, chocolate milk, and donuts! We like to eat, and runners have to eat a lot. Come for the run (and fun!) and stay for our pasta dinners and team breakfasts!

You want a readymade group of cool friends that like to have a good time!

We get a great group of kids that like to spend time with each other--both at and outside of practice--are kind, and second-to-none in their ability to have fun!

Cross-country is a great team sport, and every runner matters. Plus, our team gets along and has a ton of fun together.

Run with us, and you'll get in great shape! If you just want to come out and stay in shape for another sport, we'd love to have you (and you other coaches will be glad you did!).
